Step 2 · Implementation

Clean tracking, from tag to server.

Tracking plan, Google Tag Manager web and server-side, GA4, ad conversions and consent: I deploy tracking that is documented, tested and easy to maintain.

  • E-commerce
  • SaaS
  • Lead generation
  • Agencies

Who is it for?

The right time to (re)build

New website or redesign

You're launching a site or switching CMS or e-commerce platform and want a solid foundation.

Going server-side

You want to limit the impact of ad-blockers and browser restrictions on your data.

Compliance

You need to properly connect your CMP and Consent Mode V2 to your tags.

Fixes after an audit

You have a list of errors and want them fixed properly.

What you get

Everything you need to measure right.

The scope is defined together during scoping: you know exactly what will be delivered.

  • Structured, documented tracking plan
  • Organised Google Tag Manager web container with consistent naming
  • GTM server-side hosted on Addingwell, Stape or Google Cloud
  • GA4: events, conversions and e-commerce tracking
  • Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn… conversions, including server-side
  • CMP and Google Consent Mode V2
  • Testing of your key journeys and handover documentation

How it works

A project in four steps

  1. Scoping

We list your goals, the conversions to track and the tools involved.

  2. Tracking plan

I write the plan: events, parameters and consent rules. You approve it.

  3. Implementation

I configure GTM, server-side and the platforms, in a test environment first.

  4. QA and go-live

I test every journey, publish and hand over the documentation.

« We brought Lucas in to update the tracking of our e-commerce site with a move to a server-side setup, and the experience went very well from start to finish. Lucas explained technical topics with a lot of pedagogy, helping us understand these complex, specific subjects. Deadlines were met and the rollout was closely followed, in coordination with our developers (DataLayer update), right up to the full check that our new tagging worked properly. He also recommended key partners for our needs and started the conversations with them, which saved us precious time. Throughout the project he was very responsive, drove progress and was solution-oriented. We will work with him again without hesitation and recommend his services. »

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Another question?

Ask Lucas directly, he replies within 24h.

How much does an implementation cost?
Each project is quoted individually, based on the scope defined during scoping: number of websites, events and platforms.
Do I need a developer on my side?
Not always. Depending on your site, a dataLayer may be needed: I then write the specifications for your developer and check the integration.
Which platforms do you work with?
Shopify, WordPress, PrestaShop and custom websites. Tools: GA4, Matomo, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and the main CMPs.
Where should GTM server-side be hosted?
I advise you between Addingwell, Stape and Google Cloud depending on your context. I’m a certified Addingwell partner.
Should I start with an audit?
It’s recommended if you already have a setup, but not mandatory: scoping also covers an assessment of the current state.
